About John

John and Jean Brewer purchased the land for Anne's Windy Poplars 21 years ago. Anne's Windy Poplars is widely recognized as a top quality cottage resort located in Cavendish, PEI. John's interests are varied including aviation, church, real estate and public speaking through Toastmasters where he holds a Distinquished Toastmasters designation (DTM). John started flying in 1967 than obtained his commercial pilot's license and instructors rating. After a long sabbatical from flying he renewed his license in 2007 then purchased the airplane which has the call sign C-GRJJ. JJ means John & Jean. John enjoys the tourism business and endeavours to always run a high quality operation. He says, why retire when you are having a good time.
